Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect in my first lesson?
Everyone is different, so we like to start our singing lessons with a quick chat about your goals and aspirations and discuss where you feel you are with your voice and your experience so far. Next, we might start with a few exercises to get you comfortable singing and start your journey into good vocal techniques. Finally, we will work on a song, so make sure you come with an idea of a song you might like to do. Whatever you want to achieve, we will make it happen.
What should I bring?
Not much is required for you to bring along, but it is recomended that you bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothes, when possible.
Do you provide online lessons?
Yes! if you specify in your booking you are looking for an online lesson, an online link shall be sent to you upon confirmation of booking.
What is Vocal Health First Aid?
Vocal Health First Aid refers to the immediate care and practical strategies used to address and manage early signs of vocal strain, discomfort, or injury before professional medical treatment is required. It involves recognising symptoms of vocal fatigue or misuse and applying preventative or responsive techniques to protect and support the voice.
Accessibility at our studio?
Our studio is accessible for all; we have a lift from the street level to our studio on the 3rd floor. But If you do have reduced mobility, please let your teacher know before your first lesson.
What genres do you teach?
Whatever genre you wish to do is fine with us. We will never change your style; the techniques you learn with us will be designed to enhance your style, never change it.
